Technophar Equipment and Service Ltd. (TES), headquartered in Canada, and Qualicaps K.K. of Nara Japan, have concluded an exclusive framework agreement for the sales, technical support and service of the proven line of Qualicaps Pharmaceutical Machinery in Europe, the Middle East and Africa through Technophar's wholly owned subsidiary, Technophar Equipment and Service SRL based in Romania.
All new and existing Qualicaps equipment in these markets will now be locally supported, for spare parts, service, and upgrades by TES. Customers will benefit from faster project execution and improved long term support in their local time zone, overall improved customer service, and from Technophar's knowledge and understanding of the local market requirements.
Technophar established operations in the European market in 1991 and is now present through two facilities in Romania encompassing complete sales, engineering, technical support, service and production capabilities.
This agreement expands Technophar's hard and soft capsule equipment portfolio with proven Qualicaps technology for:
- capsule/tablet weight checking
- capsule filling - liquid and powder
- capsule sealing
- capsule inspection
- capsule imprinting
- tablet inspection
- tablet imprinting
- integrated hard gelatin capsule liquid filling/sealing
